I finished the Aviatrix Hat for Angelo. I absolutely loved this pattern once I stopped moaning and groaning about it. This pattern made me fall in love with short rows. How satisfying it was to just stop and then turn the needles around and go in the other direction. It felt like magic! The hat came out a little big but I figured it's better to be too big than too small. The yarn has a good stretch so, he'll be rocking this garment next fall/winter for sure! I definitely recommend this pattern and the yarn, which in case you've not been keeping up, is Manos del Uruguay Maxima. It's a worsted weight and is so squishy!

Look at that cutie, in all his flushed, buff finery. Some day, when he's older, he's gonna hate you for taking it and then showing it to people. :)
