To market

One of my duties as being a teacher is to supervise the cafeteria (other wise known as the loony bin) throughout the school year.  Kids have to ask you to leave the cafeteria to go to the bathroom, nurse, locker, etc.  Then there are always kids that think they have carte blanche and do whatever the heck they want.  Um, excuse me, I am trying to do my job here.  I have done lunch duty for the majority of the time at my school district and I would always get stuck with other teachers that weren't on the same page as me... like following the basic rules of being a supervisor.  Well, I got lucky this year to be in the duty from hell with like-minded people.  In such an unpleasant atmosphere of kids throwing food or straight out talking back to us, it was nice to spend that time with two pleasant ladies.  I decided to make them each a little market bag as a token of my appreciation.  Each were made with Lily Sugar N' Cream in the colorway of Lotus Blossom.  The blue one's label got tossed before this post and after a little research I found it's colorway - Faded Denim.

In other news, I'm working on a shawl for me, am way behind on my motifs, and wondering which knitting stitch I'm going to try and do for June.
