My obsession has begun after a few starts, stops and ripping. I figured since I bought a few mini sock skeins and the Beekeeper's Quilt pattern a few months ago, that now was the time. If you saw my last post, a fellow Raveler also motivated me into getting started already with almost 50 mini skeins she sent me through the mail! I was pretty pleased with the puff. It took me about five attempts but I did it and I love it. I wish I could tell you more information about the yarn but alls I know is that it's sock yarn from the Yarn Cupboard.
Current Hexipuff habit: about a puff a day
The Beekeeper's Quilt is such a cool idea! I looked up some pics on Google, and they look funky and cozy and totally awesome. It would work great as a bedspread. How many puffs do you have to make to finish a quilt?
ReplyDeleteIt's so sick what I've started. It takes about 102 to make a 2x2 quilt, for a 2x3 you need 167, and for a 3x4 quilt, a whopping 384! :-P
DeleteHoly sheet! You better clear your schedule and get started. Maybe teach Hazel to make them and then you can take advantage of free child labor! :-)
