Another FO to show! |
I've decided to hold myself accountable for my Beekeeper's Quilt since, I've lost major steam on doing it. So, I made a mini resolution to myself. In between each project I finish, I will knit 5 hexipuffs (I was going to do 10 but I realized at number 5, I wanted to move on). This can be seen as killing a few birds with one stone: It can act as a palette cleanser in between projects. I'll be making progress in realistic increments. I get to use all the sock yarn leftovers and mini skeins I've been hanging on to since I started this crazy project.
Bam! 5 puffs! |
The top picture are some fingerless mitts that I promised to a friend. The pattern is called Dragon Hands by Caitlin ffrench. I used Berrocco Sundae. It's a bulky weight yarn so it's going to stretch a bit for the receiver's hands. If they don't fit, I won't mind keeping these! Now on to the next five puffs before I start kicking some butt on my cast-on-apalooza projects!
I can't wait to see this quilt all done - I bet the colors are going to be amazing.
